巨明刚(Ming-Gang Ju)

Prof. Ming-Gang Ju, graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Sichuan University in 2007 and obtained his Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2015. From September 2007 to July 2010, he served as a Research Assistant at Shanghai Hengrui Pharmaceutical Research Center. Subsequently, from February 2016 to February 2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States. In June 2020, he joined the School of Physics at Southeast University.

Research Areas:

His research focuses on the physical chemistry and multiscale simulation of materials. Engaging in cutting-edge research on materials, he primarily employs first-principles calculations, molecular dynamics, transition state searching, and data-driven techniques to explore the unique properties of materials, as well as the microscopic physics, response mechanisms under external stimuli, nucleation and growth mechanisms, etc. He has published over 50 SCI papers in academic journals, with 24 as the first author/corresponding author in prestigious international journals such as J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nat. Commun., and Joule. Four papers were selected as ESI Highly Cited, and his publications have been cited over 2500 times, with an H-index of 27.
